i was more concerned about them not owning the rights to use the lineart as in your mario example that's all =)

i still think my critiques, however, remain valid and i stand by them =)

@Partack, This lineart is from the forum's line den. Other's lineart which is then colored/pixelled has always been an acceptable thing. PJ has even had weekly challenges with provided lineart.

NOTE: Lineart means the original artist has pre given use of their lineart and descriptions always must state this. This tradition comes from those who are new to pixelart and are practicing and perfecting coloring techniques. Do note that some linearts are not cool. For example a real Nintendo Mario lineart is not cool because Nintendo has not given free usage of the lineart.

wait, are you saying you do not own the line art for this picture?  

additionally, what's wrong with their eyes? .. are the whites supposed to look vainy?  o.o hair's a good shape but the 'AA'  needs some refining.. the red/brown on gray doesn't really work on the outside parts next to the black outline.. i also believe you have some banding on the clothing..
