A little inventory mock-up. Our hero is holding cigarettes, knock-off Coca Cola, a Tamagotchi, and some mushrooms. Their weapon is a glue gun. The main inventory is on the left, and the equipped items are on the right. The drink is a health item and she therefore has one equipped for quick use.

I was going for an 80s/sci-fi vibe.
