that first place surely tried hard, really hard.
love all of it..im not too fond of the area just under the large creatures foot. the shadow isn't dark enough. i understand color limitations, but it still sticks out in a bad way IMO. great work though. monthly top 10 for sure.
Yay! \o/
Well, that's compos for you, I guess. Thank God they exist, otherwise some people would be hard pressed to pixel anything :D
The McDonalds sign in the bg is hilarious! :D
well, i just got this message about the winner today
"that girl spent the whole party being a girl... which mean most sceners went and try to catch her boobs hard, noticed it during the first night"
don't wanna judge or complain - i'm fine with 2nd, considering some other pieces in the competition.. an i used boobs to obtain as many votes as possible myself in the past.. pixeled boobs :)
no bothers, maybe he meant the fairy's face, but i actually don't care.. normally i just have quick look at the personal gallery to judge the relevance :)
@Voldimars
I think all of us would appreciate you justifying that comment with what exactly you dont like about the piece, or perhaps some constructive crits. You are, of coarse, intitled to think whatever you'd like to think, but the purpose of this site is not to make hasty comments like yours. It seems like you just want to attract attention, or make him feel bad or something, so it kinda wastes space.
Love the piece, Tomic, stylish as hell as always. The wings are especially original-looking.
Too bad that you did not change the cats paw :(. I thought that the suggestion in the WIP forum was really good!
Pixelskill is of course flawless, and the characters in the BG are a great addition!
Are you kidding, did that overdithered wonky-scaled picture win???
Sexy stuff here (the only thing that bugs me a little about the palette is the similarity of the two brightest colors, but that has no impact on the image quality). However I think it would look better with the slightly darker grey on the fairy (as the color shade darker than orange), like it's done on the monster's claw.
Great work!
