Weekly Challenge: Angels and Demons
Voted ! Great design :) and I like the animation, gives it some life !
By the way I wanted to tell you that your sentence "If in doubt, use tilesets!" is my favorite quote about pixelart. Will probably play with tilesets in the future :)

Awesome - but I agree that the static preview looks better than the animated one (it just calls attention to the layers, thus drawing your eye).

Cool original design! The animation seems unnesscesary to me though.
I how he is not symetric, also not the colors and the wings are cleverly designed!
This is very different from anything else I've seen of yours but I still new it was you. You have one of the most recognizable styles. In fact I have a WIP in which I try to mimic your style. Perhaps I'll finish one day...

really Nice composition, great color choice and a plus for making a different kind of angel.
Although the animation doesn't really help much, I prefer the static preview version. I guess is that the animation gives the feeling of a layerdimage, but the layers don't have depth so it makes it look to plane for me.
