I had submitted it on DBH before, haven't decided yet on what next. Maybe Society6, although I have no idea of the quality of prints there.

Are you on a mac? I made it on a (calibrated) PC and the dark colors are supposed to be much darker than they appear on macs, the contrast is not meant to be harsh. Also, since it's a shirt design, I wanted some negative space patches for better integration into the shirt background.
damn this really developed well since its WIP's i remember seeing. the cliffside texturing up in the upper skull region has seriously improved and this thing is now officially amazing. the only thing i DONT get is why the trees are so dark!

I'm not really a huge fan of how you dealt with contrast in the newer version. I know you wanted to make the skull shape as clear as possible, but the discrepancy in contrast from the trees to the rest of the composition makes it look much less unified.
The design is incredible, but I really prefer the older version. :)

This is amazing work, especially for only eight colors. Good job and keep it up!
The perspective is really weird/off at times in that it doesn't always seem that it is on the same plane. However, I think this only adds to the piece and this is truly genius design. Love it.
I think the old one was better because this more detailed style doesn't work well together with the low color count. It tries to have depth but isn't able to.
