Yes, you are right in all :) .
Actually i'm focusing on the interface design and after all the details to create a better design buttons,etc... like yours but thanks for all the tips! i hope all will be solved in the next update :) .
Edit: The selected objects (With bright background) will be without shadow. Also for selected objects i think will be better something more easy like a yellow outline or similar, mmm...
The design just screams DawnBringer, and you made very good, classic use of the palette. The GUI is also nice, but as DB said, a little on the simple side. I second DB's idea of some pimpin' buttons.
It doesn't look very good with such a thick & dark dropshadow on a such a bright background as the sword has. The dropshadows are also inconsistent with the direction of light in the rest of the interface. Those buttons are begging for some pimping...[quick tweaking]...
I like the interface very much, but I actually kinda miss the reduced-quality wood texture from the first one :D
your graphics are really cool !
i loved your pallete , the one you used for the helmet , it's very creative ..
for he background it could be either a seamless texture of simple two or three colors or a more advanced thing that is drawing some armor shop or store or whatever you call it , with low contrast colors to appear somewhat vague.
i tested some wood ones and not seems to fit very well.
I'm thinking to add a metal with a victorian details for decoration but this will be a lot of work and i want to try first some more easy that fit ok.
Do your own version of the wood from the first one.
This is beautiful! I wish I had the ability to create something as beautiful as this.
I'm impressed.
