This is just pure ownage. Fantastic job...great dithering; not too overdosed. Nice hair texture, great evil look.....but enough talking; 5 points and a fav say the rest.

The red things (which on the fighter sprite you can are on his sides too) are markings and somewhat heavy scarring that was caused as a child during a short story I wrote in the back of my maths excercise book 13 years ago. Basically it was part of this demonic half machine half organic thing with this massive set of claws that trapped him tight and tried to take all his human soul out of him and intensify the demon hound side. The scarrings are naturally colored when he's human but change to an intense crimson when in this form. From the notes I wrote back then its something to do with his blood. But again looking back at the notes and story bits, man I wrote some crap back then.

, this pwns, this has to be one of the fastest pieces to go top at weekly showcase, and it beat slays 'fishdick' within a day or two. This has an amazing pallete, i could just sit here all day.

Updated with slight touch ups and minor color adjustments to fit with the refined version of the sprite (not shown on this site, is basically the same with a more vibrant palette).Dunno why the hell I wrote spare minute twice like that in my previous comment. I must have been damn tired....zzzz....

I love this piece! The sideways shading is very innovative, reminds me a bit of scanlines. Only crit might be that the hand nearest to us seems pushed against his chest. It needs to cast more of a shadow or more contrast or something.

Jeeze.............as far as the hand, try wither making it a bit brighter on the highlight, darker in the shadows, or both.....it is closer to the viewer afterall and deserves hightened contrast
even without touchups, 5 and fav....

Jeez this got approved fast. Only just put it up 10 mins ago.Anyways yeah that hand bugs me too. I might try something with it. Overall though I'm more pleased with this piece than any other I've done. Think I'm closer to that horror comic book feel I've wanted to do for years.

Brilliant stuff. A nice follow up to cool character. I can't think of what game style it reminds me of, but the hair is particularly successful.
The only thing I think could possibly use some work is his right hand. It looks too much like it's hugging his body, which appears awkward. If it cast a bit of shadow on his body a more 3 dimensional volume to it could perhaps be achieved :)
