I don't even think it needs AA if he had drawn the curve better. This kind of curve can be rather hard at first to master.
@KitKatFreese, lines in general and especially curves are always best when they 'step' which is what other are mentioning. Say, 7,5,3,2,1,1,1,2,3,5,7 pixels. pixels intead of 6,4,5,2,3,1,1,1,3,2,4,6 pixels.
I love the color choices and the overall design of the blimp. I agree with Mrmo, though -- a little AA on the balloon's curves would make this piece look even better.
I like this very much.
The only thing I'd try and change are the sort of jaggy edges of the balloon curves (would be rather easy to AA), but overall this is a very solid entry piece! :D
