@Stava and @RileyFiery I see exactly where you are coming from ith the plain base color idea, but I think at the same time that since the point of the experiment was to do things differently, then following such a common convention would be counterproductive. We all know that method works. Let's try something different!
You still have the skills Adarias. This grass is really well made. There's no obvious grid pattern and the variation is nice. I would like to see some spots empty of the leaf patterns.

I would like to see you remove some of the highlights on some spots leaving only plain base color to give it more variety and break the repeating tiles..
