As a long time fan of Legend of Zelda series I felt like I had to do this at some point. I used Link's original design and tried to use a palette "similar" in some way to the first game.

EDIT: before anyone points out the obvious...I'm talking about the concept art made for the game that can be found in the instruction manual, not the in-game 8 bit color palette.
