still love this man and the fact that this site lets you zoom in more and see the detail makes it better
Wooooorrrrd XD So much word :D The game doesn't get as much love as it deserves, deffs my fav RPG.
Nice job, and as a diehard fan of Breath of Hora Hora: Hora Hora Quarter - Hora Hora Harder - Ultimate Hora Hora edition (now with 100 % more Hora Hora) I have a special appreciation for anything related to that game. :)
Aw thank you so kindly! :D It was a lot more fun and lot less stressful than I was expecting it to be hahaha
I reckon I have gimp too, sounds perfect. And I will keep your input in mind, your feedback is much appreciated and valued :D I will especially keep contrast in mind while coloring Nina; I had searched pre-put-together color palettes and read through the awesome guide I found on here and used both the palettes and information to get a grasp on the roles of the colors. Beforehand I was only using barely even half the amount of colors I used in this one and trying to decide on extra colors just blew my little mind XD But I think I at least kinda get what I'm doing now and am making my own colors palettes for Nina and Ryu so we shall see how that goes LOL. Again, thank you :D
As far as I know, any editor should be able to output a transparent background; I personally use GIMP, which allows you to add an alpha layer to the image and delete the pixels to make a transparent background.
As for the piece, it's really quite good! Her feet seem a bit oddly proportioned / posed compared to her overall perspective. I'd like to see more contrast - it feels kind of "washed out" a bit, overall. All the same, it's quite good!
aw thank you so much for your kind words n_n this is my first time I buckled-down, did pixel-related color theory and AA studying and put said studiess into practice
Thank you for the valuable feedback! :D I'll be honest and shameless, I've been doing super basic pixel stuff for years but only made a resolution to try to seriously get into it not long ago, this being my first piece. I started Nina and I intend to do Ryu, and when all 3 are done my plan is to put them in a scene.
That's amazing. Seriously. Great job on capturing the details and blending the colors. its really smooth!
Looks great. Perhaps the purple background would look better transparent? Doesn't seem to do much for this pixel.
Thanks bro :D I friggin looooove that this place lets you zoom in right on the spot. Brilliant feature, BRILLIANT. Double thumbs up for finding this place XD
