The wait is now over. Today, Activision has released the first single player demo of its upcoming World War II-themed shooter, Call of Duty 2 for the PC. The demo clocks in at 656MB and is available immediately from:

I'm too consumed with BattleField2 at the moment to even get into another shooter, even a demo, but I've been planning to buy the full-version anyway when it comes out, if my machine can take it.
The first game blew me away (its multiplayer with extreme extra value to me).

Haven't had a chance to try it yet. Trying DoD: Source which isn't as neat as I'd hoped.
