'The Simpsons' Live Action Opening This Sunday
News Details
The UK produced live action opening of The Simpsons will be appearing on this Sunday's episode on Fox. Another worthy note and UK connection is that Ricky Gervais (the genius behind The Office) wrote and lends his voice for the episode. Bless them red coats.

That was on today. The episode itself was alright, but seeing the live action opening on TV was the best part. :D

It was exciting for some reason to see the live action intro even though I had already seen it. The episode certainly had some funny moments (my favorite was Maggie dropping the dishes out the mail slot), but what I found most interesting was how they captured all of the manerisms of Ricky Gervais. It's bizarre watching an animated David Brent bite his lip and shift his tie.
