Insane? Yes. Art is insane.

The hell... does the size of something that large even justify the whole 'instant' aspect? That's insane.

Manupix (Level 5 Assistant Manager) at 10/27/2009 5:26:48 AM

Wow! You're a compulsive eater! :)

Actually, Pola films don't keep for very long, one year at most. Keep them in your fridge, but not in the freezer!

Also, the larger pro films (peel-apart) have disappeared almost as soon as Polaroid announced they'd stop. Those are what I used, and I didn't make any stock...

I feel sorry for the great artists whose art was all very-large-format 20x24" pola...

Edit: hadn't seen the 'big news' link in that page, it's from last year. Since all peel-apart films were actually cut from factory 20" rolls, there might be hope, although I don't see how you can keep a whole factory running with this only outlet.

manu, i just recently bought 50 polaroid films in vienna... should at least last some time...

Quite fitting actually, since Polaroid Corp isn't much more than a living corpse these days.

Unless... Edwin has heard his worshippers' prayers!

Everlasting gratitude and admiration go there.

Polaroid photos were pretty thick  All the development chemicals, etc were in the picture itself or (the film).  It was all-in-one.

Photocopier (Level 8 Regional Boss) at 10/26/2009 2:00:06 PM

fat as in 3d, it has a wierd raised surface to it.

Manupix (Level 5 Assistant Manager) at 10/26/2009 1:52:27 PM

It's a Polaroid template.

Nothing else is worth mentioning in photography. Well, almost.

xXHalfieXx (Level 4 Lieutenant) at 10/26/2009 8:47:28 AM

Well, you can't exactly rip it. No transparency allowed.

Photocopier (Level 8 Regional Boss) at 10/26/2009 8:07:03 AM

I asume we can edit the template as long as it keeps the shape (make it look old/ripped/realistic) right? because I agree with elk on it being way to fat looking

TioLuko (Level 4 Deputy) at 10/26/2009 7:17:10 AM

My cats and the zombies will be good friends xD

Elk (Level 6 Serial Killer) at 10/26/2009 5:08:10 AM

looks like a gameboy template rather than a photohraph template

(a photograph being that thick, why adding shadow/highlight line...)

dpixel (Level 6 Major) at 10/26/2009 4:34:23 AM

This is just wrong.  Zombies should have no intellect what so ever.  They are neither friendly or menacing.  They just be.

Photocopier (Level 8 Regional Boss) at 10/26/2009 2:33:18 AM

yay, I'm off this week so...

tripnfelt (Level 4 Shichikyu) at 10/26/2009 2:17:04 AM
