believe what you will, i've been pixelling for a long time, not here but at deviantart, and the thought that i would result to ripping, or spriting, is ludecrous.
ofcourse it looks like the original, i copied the style, as i said, and yes - drawing with the original side by side is how i did it. |

regardless, this is a nice pixeljoint, i followed the creation over at the forums, and i think it turned out well :) - for a guy who originally started off in your room as "scared" he sure looks happy ;) - i think the walls could still do with some work, but other than that the penguin detail is quite nice, their eyes remind me of wallace and gromit, chicken run, etc - good work :D

my reccomendations would be to exchange a lot of the black outlines for darker/lighter shades of your base colour, and.. hmm.. perhaps add a person in there, walking on one of te sets of stairs which is at an odd angle, making him confused or something- who knows
