Thanks for the comments :) The tiling is obvious because if you check my old pieces, the cloud and background tiles were made for a much smaller canvas and i never got around (or was too lazy) to making a new background :).

I actually like the BG empty. Although this final boss is played by tapping to accelerate and releasing to decelerate (you dodge his attacks by going right and left) the rest of the game is played by tapping to go up and releasing to go down. There's a lot of obstacles to avoid in the empty space of the game all the time, and I thought making a background would distract the player.

I will be making new background tiles for different stages of the game, including this one though :) So the garbage tiles are just temporary.

Easy solution: only enable rating a piece when you've clicked on the preview (NOT when only the preview is visible).

The best part about this game is the art.

And the music.

And the jokes.

And everything else.

As far as artistic choices are concerned however, I think you could have done something with it - stick it on an arm, as if it were a soldiers' armband, apply some shading as if it were a flag, etc.

Don't get put down by the angry comments though. For some people, the symbol evokes a lot of emotion as their family or country may have been affected by it, but perhaps you didn't know so much about it so you had a perfectly good reason to think it's acceptable.

Finally, in reply to grim666's comment, no the swastika isn't a sign of luck. It was based off hinduisms' sign for luck and goodness, but the arms' directions were reversed.
