Also you can use the sprite editor in GameMaker to make the .gif.

 | sharprm @ 11/22/2009 9:08:46 PM commented on Frankly My Dear, yeah, but maybe check the size of the reflected head (and note that things get laterally inverted, so if her hair is bigger on the right hand side (for us) it will be bigger on the right hand side (for us) in the reflection.
btw did u get inspired by the amiga 'banshee' game a little?

 | sharprm @ 11/22/2009 8:23:07 PM commented on Frankly My Dear, puddle lower left: bricks looked rotated 90 degrees, not flipped. not sure what u did with trashcan. if u stuck two together, you wouldn't see the lid of the bottom one.

 | sharprm @ 11/22/2009 7:43:09 PM commented on Frankly My Dear, mirrors are easy. just imagine that the mirror is a window and it looks onto a world exactly the same except flipped where the mirror would be. each object in the reflection is an equal distance from the mirror as the real object is. so in the case of the trashcan (since it sits on the mirror), imagine you glued two trashcans together (one upside down). same with the brick wall. there shouldn't be that angle unless the wall is angled relative to the water.

these rules don't work work mirrors that aren't flat.

i didn't look at the dithering and i don't know much about dithering or automatic dithering.

 | sharprm @ 11/18/2009 9:24:39 PM commented on "Manipulate her" illustration2 minor thing but techniucally painting that is reflected should be moved down and to the left so that it is equal distance from mirror and real painting is. looks good i like pink girl best.

However, if you accuse people of color reducing/using tools and demand proof then it would be better if you had a squeaky clean record yourself. Using the standard you applied to the pandafox guy, this is a trace until you prove otherwise and your reaction suggests you are 'covering something up'.
