I really like the pose, except the wing(s?). You actually made his overlong sword look cool. I think his skin area might be too contrasty, looking more like bright skin with outlines than normal highlighted skin. Your shiny metal parts need a shinier gradient, i.e. a quicker transition from dark to light to give the real shiny impression. The highlighting on the coat is weird. It doesn't look like it's coming from a light source, more like it's just there. I believe it should be more consistent along the entire length of the coat... with shadows where they should be according to where you put the light. Same for his hair. Why is it light at the top and grey all the way down?
And finally, his legs could use more definition. A large part of the is just a silhouette, which is pretty much never necessary.
