'No need to worry boys and girls
...I'm holding the bomb now!'

I needed a new avatar. I realise the mix of dithering and smoothshading seems odd, but i like it. There are obviously loads of issues with it i can't pinpoint, so please make them known, people!

The title cracks me up. The shading and everything is awesome and the shine off the gold armor is excellently done.

@THE KAPPTIN: Lol, you've got it there. 'Egyptian hieroglyph' hehe, i like that comparison. Thanks for the comment.
@Lawrence: I must say, it makes the image look very dynamic, and i am quite keen on the freaky look the robot is given from it. I'll have a go at an edit perhaps, although i'm not sure :P

While the edit looks more realistic, I think it loses something of the original image. The slight logistical problems of the position of the robot's head in the original piece give it an iconic quality, kind of like an Egyptian hieroglyph, while the edit seems to bring the robot to disgrace. Let him have his glory, I say!

@Lawrence: You're most definetely right about the physics of it, although i'm not sure if i want to bother with fixing it, seeing as i may lose some of the details i wanted from the start. The secondary glow i can imagine looks good aswel, but would it perhaps make the turquoise lose it's starkness? If you can i'd love to see your edit.
@Tremulant: Gee dude, thankyou very much, i'm very flattered.
@Skull: Hehe, cheers!
@Chanfan: Thanks aswel, i don't think i can let you have him in your game however, seeing as i've been planning to use him in mine. Glad you like the concept though.

Cheers for the feedback guys. <3

Haha I love this one! The robot character is really cool! Do you mind if I use him in my fighting game? :D

How perfectly described
Looks brilliant, the colours are superb and the shape is brilliant. Great work.

Your bombs are alway so damn cute

I love it.

I really love the subtle radiosity on the left of the bomb.

I've edited around with this and I think the right hand side of the robot's head would actually be in the shade of the bomb, and possibly the upper right hand side of the chest and right shoulder.

Also if you feel like expending a couple more colours, it looks good to have the turquoise lights hitting the surrounding area on the robot.
