Ah, splendid update. Although here are a few things I suggest if you want to make it even better.
The highlights on the eyes still need to corespond to the lightsorce's direction.
The nice shadow you've added to the face could do with a simple dithering at the top of the dark shade to portray a softer shadow. I'd suggest one single line of 50% dithering.
The body still has some aliasing which could be thwarted. Since you seem to have anti-aliased some parts well, I'm sure you could do all of it very well. You just need to trawl through the entire piece thinking about which parts look jagged and how you would rectify them
Since his tail is behind him, his body would be casting a shadow all over it, and I reckon it would be significantly darker.
Yeah, I'd say either dither the face or remove the dithering from the body. Having both methods looks dodgy, but dithering the face would continue the nice texture he has on his body. Also I'd recommend moving the highlights on the eyes to the lower-right corner of each eye, since that's where the light source is. Also, I definitely think you should take the skin's lightest highlight-shade and highlight the lower-right corner of his mouth area. And just above his mouth area where it meets his head you should continue using the lighter of the two dark shades because his mouth area would be casting a small shadow onto the rest of his head. It's hard to describe so if you want I can show you a quick edit of what I mean.
So this is what you were up to, eh? Good job, he certainly looks rather charming. I couldn't help noticing though, that you dithered his body area but not his face. Also, I was just wondering where is the lightsource coming from? Anyway, I think this is one of the best pieces in your gallery, so good job
