Fish get lol! It would look good if there wasn't that background and if you replaced with more iso blocks.

hehe! Great Character and I love the idea behind the water.Not so keen on the dithered backdrop picture as it doesn't lend itself to the same style quality of the other artwork. To be honest, it would look fine with just a solid backdrop colour.
Love it all the same and the main artwork is brilliant.

Re: the tree, that blue thing is a pretty standard thing to do, err well they did it in Secret o' Mana 2 (seiken densetsu 3?) and it looked good!.

Hehe, nice vibrant colors. Find teh tree strange though, it's all detailed and with the bluish lighting outta nowhereI think the tree shadow's pretty big as well.
but it's tasty!
