I prefer the eyes as they are (as opposed to Lawrence's edit), as that edit makes them kinda' huge and I like the dark shadow around them.

Pretty cool piece, but my first impression of it was that it's a little "fuzzy" with all that AA (basically the AA extends too far out from the sides of the image) and perhaps the tail could be a little less jaggy.

This is basically how I think the aa on the eyes should be. What you've done with the eyes is simply sandwich the line with colours.

i really like the minimalistic style of the face.. really cute

but what this piece needs is a cleaner (and effective) aa.. at the moment it's just awful, sorry. looks like you didn't aa the black outline, but outlined the outline with another outline: you should do aa only where you have steps in the black outline and you could use the dark brown to aa the of the inner side of the black outline.

Nice design, but the eyes could definitely be anti aliased, that would go very well with the rest of the aa style in this piece. Also, the aa you've done on the outline causes the outline's width to vary inconsistantly; straight lines in the outline are 1px wide whereas the anti-aliased parts reach up to 1.5 px wide. When you antialias lines, you shouldn't just 'add' the aa colours to the side of the line, the line needs to be treated as a whole. If you want I can make an edit to show you more clearly.
