I'd love to have your imagination and your talent, this is really original and beautiful.
In my eyes this is one of the most creative things I have ever seen but it's not really made in a simplfying graphical way. I can't really tell you how long I watched at this piece, but I guess more than 5 hours for sure. I especially love the textures and the soft action in the piece (and of course the desing and lots of other things)
The only things which I don't really like after the long time of watching is the axis of the nose, the lighting of the beneth plane of the nose and some of the single pixel detail in the shadow of the planet - this things don't really really hurt it looks just perfect to me.
Just wonderful! Love the improvement from the original.
stunning work !!!
and I like the funny hidden messages in the background ;)
Absolutely gorgeous use of colors. Great concept, too. Took me a while to notice the little guys.
All details look exceptionally sharp.
I love the face expression and colour palette.
Oh, and the planet is great!
One fav more.
i like the old planet more, but the robot looks good :P
16 colors and you made this? You are definitely Godly
@bigbrother+all: what ilkke didn't want to say, cause it's a bit embarrasing: that unused color is an old demoscene superstition/ritual: an oblation to a higher power, the scene spirit =)
.. and i don't think, that the planet looks like a sliced blutwurst.
That is some stellar metal texturing/modeling, nice ramp. I love the planet's dry dirt texture and lighting.
Neat glimpse of another world.
That sir is fucking amazing.
You've just re-kindled me interst in pixel art good sir.And that is heading stright to my favorites.
The texture's great! Maybe add a few stars in the background would be nice.
Overall, it's nice work! Fav-ed! :D
Oh shit! Another wonderful work for the weekly showcase. Congrats man!
Looks like digital art.
the 'biggish picture'. beautiful. diggin the small details on the edward squissorhands robot, tough some parts feel a bit too smooth, but meh.
i'm starting to understand one's enthusiasm for contourfills in grafx2 =D
Looks like a mix of Dragonplane and Cat of gold. Exelent work. FAV'D.
