Top Pixel Art - April 2009 (#2)
Many little things I love about this, make's me wan't to watch some old sci-fi movies. The palette is great and one just can't miss is that CCCP on the box and that poster on the wall which absolutely nails this one!

That is really, really good. The astronaut is my favorite part. That looks like part of a cutscene for a Sci-Fi game.
Looks like a soviet fantastic novel illustration.

I love this.. I grew up in the 80s and it reminds me alot of the imagery in books I read... Nicely done :)

Good shit, everything about it is tops.. except the alien's foot, which seems like a huge cop out and a missed opportunity for some wonderful claws to compliment that beak.
If a giant space doctor zuess'esk space gorrilla jumped out and pointed a gun at me I would have a brown shadow all over the back of my pants...

holy shit. half a month to go but i think i've already found my personal top of the month. science fiction- and communist- and 8 color-pixel in one (btw, 8 color pieces, especially of this quality have to carry the 8cc-tag, it actually tops the genre i think).
beautiful palette. and totally diggin' this adventuresque dark-foreground-chests-look. faved. so faved.
very nice! the AA on the shiny beek really grabs me, and the subtle colors give me a funny feeling in my pants
