Rubikcubism: Avant garde artistic movement that appeared in the XXI Century by using Rubik's cubes as a medium to create art. The French artist known by the pseudonym Invader is at the origin of this movement.

I agree that Space Invaders/Mario get tired after awhile and it would be nice to see something else (maybe even original creations), but I think part of the projects have to do with familiarity of pop culture and what is more familiar than Mario and Space Invaders?

The only thing I hate about these type of exhibits is that it always has to do with space invaders or mario. I mean sure, pixels, cubes, yeah, But originality is nice too. The only ones that I actually enlarged were "rubikcubism" and "trash" because they were different at least D:
