World Record CPU Clock

News Details

These guys set the world record for CPU overclock.

The system had a standard Intel Pentium 4 (3.06Ghz).  After a visit from our good ol friend liquid nitrogen, they got it overclocked to 5.25Ghz, and with a cool core temperature of -196°C (-320.8°F).

i would have to see some proof of that, like a video...  +6ghz is nearly impossible at this time, unless it was a 64bit processor, then it is another class you are talking about.

Uhm, estonian Jaan Tsadurjan clocked the processor over 6 GHZ using liquid nitrogen in the temperature of 196 degrees Celsius... So you figure it!
