visual interpitation is much different from artificial emotions.  emotions are way easy to emulate, my bot has that ability. 

i think the greatest thing about pleo is that it shows that moore's law is starting to kick in for robotics as well.  think about it...  2 years ago, a robosapien, a robot without any emotion emulation or ai of any kind cost what this robot does...  in 10 years, think about what will be available for robotics in an affordable package.

I like how he looks shocked when he reaches the end of the table.

They've only just been able to make a robot which can understand it's own reflection in a mirror.
I think they mean to say 'he is capable of faking actual emotions..'
