Indigo @ 4/25/2009 3:46:58 PM commented on Big Bird Yeah, I'm working towards turning my website into a subscriber based service for a clean and simple Resume/Portfolio hosting. Each user would have their own dedicated profile, gallery, resume and blog they can update and mantain. It'd be skinnable so a user could personalize it as their own. I also plan to add a "subscribe" feature for all the members. So much like youtube, you'd be able to "subscribe" to updates from specific artists you like and it would appear on your home page. I'm hoping people would like a service such as this. Its definitely not geared as a gallery showcase like pixeljoint is - but much more of a professional portfolio space with social networking features. | |

Its labeled the "pixel art icons with the most points..." for a reason.. because it has the most points. You'd be negating the users voices of this forum. Its this sort of censorship that makes me sick. google and youtube has done things like this as well which I haven't liked. And I love Lollige's idea of a yearly rated gallery. that'd be a good solution. | |

Often times something is better viewed against a certain value or hue. With all the various pixeljoint skins people use, there's no telling how your art will look on another viewer's screen. Turns out they have a fetchin' awesome screen zoom feature built right in. (holding control while swiping with two fingers). It, too, has interpolation on the zoom, but it can be turned off! YAY! no more having to wait for firefox to fix that dang bug! | |
